Assistant Program Manager
- Location: Ahmedabad, Gudalur, Pune
We are looking for Assistant Program Managers for Atmiyata to support with scaling up the intervention.
Number of positions: 03 (one for each location mentioned below)
Location: Pune, Ahmedabad, and Gudalur
Atmiyata is a low cost, high impact, sustainable and scalable intervention that complements the public mental health system, aimed at reducing the mental health and social care gap. At present Atmiyata is being implemented in Gujarat, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh & Maharashtra.
Responsibilities
- Program Implementation: Oversee daily execution of the program, ensuring protocol adherence and fidelity of the intervention
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with local leaders, government bodies, and healthcare providers to gain support for interventions
- Monitoring and Reporting: Collect and analyse field data, track performance, and prepare progress reports for improvements
- Problem-Solving and Scaling: Address field challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and align strategies with program goals
- Collaboration: Work closely with Program Manager, Capacity Building Manager, field teams, and external stakeholders to align implementation plans with program objectives and community needs
Qualifications and skills
ESSENTIAL
- Master’s degree in social science, Public Health or other allied fields
- Willing to travel regularly to field locations
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrated ability of managing teams
- Ability to liaison with different stakeholders at Block, district and state level
- Proficient in Gujarati/Marathi/Kannada/Tamil and Hindi, English (verbal and written)
DESIRABLE
- Prior experience of working in community mental health or community health projects
- 2 – 4 years field experience
