About the Role: We are looking for a Research Intern to be a part of our project ‘Capacity Building of Service Providers, Caregivers & Child Protection Functionaries for Integrating Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in Child Protection Systems in India’ project. The ideal candidate would have an interest in research and MHPSS and would have some experience or training in qualitative research methodologies.

Duration of internship: Flexible, from 2 months to 1 year; longer-term commitments are preferred. 

Responsibilities: 

• Digitization and documentation of primary data
• Support the project team with desk research
• Transcribe audio recorded data in Hindi and Marathi
• Translate the transcribed data in English

Requirements:

• Based in Pune and able to commute to the CMHLP office
• Fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi (reading, writing and speaking)
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week
• Familiar with using MS Office tools
• Strong attention to detail

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in psychology (preferred), social sciences or a related field
