Research Associate

We are looking for a Research Associate for community mental health program, Atmiyata.
Number of positions: 02
Atmiyata is a low cost, high impact, sustainable and scalable intervention that complements the public mental health system, aimed at reducing the mental health and social care gap. At present Atmiyata is being implemented in Gujarat, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh & Maharashtra.
Responsibilities
- Research Design and Fieldwork: Collaborate with the team to design protocols, develop data collection tools, and assist with data collection on the field
- Data Collection and Analysis: Train and supervise data collection team, implement data management protocols, and analyse data
- Assist with developing new grant proposals, and academic publications
Qualifications and skills
ESSENTIAL
- Master’s degree in social sciences or other allied fields
- 3-4 years of work experience in research within the fields of mental health, public health, or allied disciplines
- Demonstrate research skills in qualitative methodology
- Prior experience in academic writing
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
DESIRABLE
- MPhil or PhD in relevant fields
- Prior experience of working in community mental health or community health projects
- Proficiency in any other local language
