Sandra Manoj
Project Officer and Research Assistant
Sandra supports projects dealing with climate change, mental health, and suicide prevention. She holds an M.A. Applied Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
She is interested in tapping local knowledge systems and co-creating interventions that respond to community needs. She’s drawn to critically examining how structures of power influence access to mental health. Her approach delves into working closely with people and paying attention to how identities like gender, caste and disability shape their realities.
In her free time, she’s definitely watching movies and then recommending them to everyone she knows, chasing sunsets, or digging into a good cake.
Professional Interests: community mental health, strength-based and people-first approach, culturally responsive practice, climate justice
