Kajal works as a Research Associate on SPIRIT (Suicide Prevention & Implementation Research Initiative) in Mehsana, Gujarat. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Before joining CMHLP, Kajal has worked at several organisations working for Persons with Disabilities and women and children empowerment. Kajal enjoys learning about different communities, their culture, and languages.

In her free time, she enjoys making art and craft, watching documentaries, travelling, and exploring local places.

Professional interests: Mental health and disability, factors affecting mental health, counselling skills
