Aayan Jain

Aayan currently works as a Project Officer and Research Associate on the Atmiyata Project by the Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy (CMHLP). He holds a master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Prior to joining the Centre, Aayan worked with the Government of Punjab on their flagship psychosocial initiative, Yudh Nashean Virudh, wherein he supported multiple projects under its ambit by contributing to research, design and implementation of systemic changes and mental health interventions. He is passionate about public mental health and driving scalable systemic changes in India.

Outisde of work, you can find Aayan on a quest to explore new sunset spots, experimenting with his palate and being a night owl!

Professional Interests: Mental health in schools & colleges, suicide prevention, community-led programs, program design and implementation science.
