CMHLP is dedicated to supporting youth mental health and suicide prevention through awareness campaigns, community engagement, and advocacy. We aim to create a safe space for young people to access resources, share experiences, and seek help.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media & Communication Intern to support our digital outreach, blog writing and engagement efforts. You’ll help create content, manage Instagram and YouTube, and use insights from young people to make our messaging more relatable and impactful.
This is a paid internship offering valuable hands-on experience in content creation and youth‑centered communication
Key Responsibilities (Digital outreach)
- Create and schedule engaging content (graphics, videos, stories, posts) aligned with our messaging
- Strengthen our use of Instagram and YouTube, to reach and engage young audiences
- Coordinate with young people who are open to being video‑recorded and manage this process smoothly.
- Track engagement metrics, share insights, and suggest improvements to strengthen outreach
Requirements
- Keen to learn and contribute to youth mental health awareness through digital platforms
- Writing and storytelling skills
- Familiar with Instagram and YouTube basics
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with creating reels, graphic design or photography is a plus
- The intern is expected to contribute 15-20 hours per week (Monday to Friday alternate Saturdays).
- This can be an in- person role in Pune or remote. (this is open for discussed)
