Atmiyata is a community-led, evidence-based intervention to reduce the mental health and social care gap in communities. With its innovative and sustainable approach, Atmiyata offers a low-cost, scalable model to improve access to community mental health care. We are looking for a Research Coordinator to work on Atmiyata’s new innovations in urban settings and health systems integration. 

Responsibilities

  • Support qualitative data analysis, including coding, thematic analysis, and synthesis of findings
  • Conduct literature reviews and support evidence synthesis for ongoing and new research projects
  • Assist with writing up study findings for research reports, policy briefs, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
  • Support the preparation and submission of research manuscripts
  • Collaborate with project teams to interpret findings and support dissemination of results
  • Support preparation of presentations, briefs, and other research dissemination materials

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor trial execution and field operations
  • Monitor and supervise data collection, analysis, and research publication
  • Lead and build capacity of field teams

Qualifications:

  • Essential
    • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, Mental Health, Development Studies, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public health and allied research/programs
    • Experience in using qualitative research methodologies 
    • Strong project management and communication skills

    Desired:

    • Past experience with qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, Atlas.ti, or similar)
    • Experience with quantitative research in public health and allied fields
    • Proficiency in reading and writing in Marathi/Gujarati/Hindi
