Atmiyata is a community-led, evidence-based intervention to reduce the mental health and social care gap in communities. With its innovative and sustainable approach, Atmiyata offers a low-cost, scalable model to improve access to community mental health care. We are looking for a Research Coordinator to work on Atmiyata’s new innovations in urban settings and health systems integration.
Responsibilities
- Support qualitative data analysis, including coding, thematic analysis, and synthesis of findings
- Conduct literature reviews and support evidence synthesis for ongoing and new research projects
- Assist with writing up study findings for research reports, policy briefs, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
- Support the preparation and submission of research manuscripts
- Collaborate with project teams to interpret findings and support dissemination of results
- Support preparation of presentations, briefs, and other research dissemination materials
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor trial execution and field operations
- Monitor and supervise data collection, analysis, and research publication
- Lead and build capacity of field teams
Qualifications:
- Essential
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, Mental Health, Development Studies, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public health and allied research/programs
- Experience in using qualitative research methodologies
- Strong project management and communication skills
Desired:
- Past experience with qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, Atlas.ti, or similar)
- Experience with quantitative research in public health and allied fields
- Proficiency in reading and writing in Marathi/Gujarati/Hindi
