The Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy, Indian Law Society, Pune is looking for a Project Manager to lead the THRIVE Project in Gujarat, India. THRIVE is a 5-year project in collaboration with Addictions and Related Research Group, Sangath, India and University of Lucerne, Switzerland to implement a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the impact of cash transfers and mental health care on individuals with severe depression.

Location: Gujarat

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee trial execution and field operations
  • Monitor and supervise data collection, analysis, and publication
  • Lead and build capacity in field teams

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Master’s degree in public health/Sustainable Development/Social Sciences/ Psychology
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in public mental health research/programs
  • Experienced with quantitative research methodologies 
  • Strong project management and communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience with RCTs
  • Skilled in qualitative research
  • Strong organization and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in Gujarati and Hindi
