About Atmiyata
Atmiyata is a community-led, evidence-based intervention to reduce the mental health and social care gap in communities. With its innovative and sustainable approach, Atmiyata offers a low-cost, scalable model to improve access to community mental health care, currently present in 13 States across 34 districts in India, in addition to a pilot trial in East London, UK. We are looking for a Program Manager to support Atmiyata’s implementation, research, and scale-up.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Provide overall oversight for projects
Team Supervision & Leadership: Supervise and mentor project team, develop and monitor KPIs, build capacities of the team
Fundraising Support: identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, develop proposals, ensure grant management processes
Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify, support, maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and implementation partners.
Strategy & Program Growth: Contribute to the development and periodic review of Atmiyata’s strategic direction, expansion plans. Support documentation and effective dissemination.
Culture, Values & Organisational Alignment: Embody CMHLP’s values and ensure team understand and consistently uphold the organisation’s culture, code of conduct, and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Master’s or equivalent in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field in social sciences.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within the development/social sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder projects, preferably in health, mental health, or community development.
Preferred
- Experience of working in community mental health, psychosocial support, or public health programs.
- Familiarity with government health systems and public sector partnerships in India.
- Exposure to M&E frameworks, data-driven program management, and knowledge translation.
