Somya works as a Youth Advisor and Research Associate on the Being Initiative, India project. She holds a Master’s in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi. Prior to joining CMHLP, she led a psychoeducational project for a mental health app. She has also developed a curriculum on dating violence for high school students in California and has facilitated mental health training workshops in Ladakh.  

In her free time, Somya enjoys petting stray cats, trying out new recipes and escaping to the mountains.
