Shamrin
Data Manager
Shamrin works as a Data Manager at the Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy. She supports research teams in designing, managing, and analyzing large-scale health datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity across projects. Her expertise lies in statistical modeling, health economics, and public health research, with a focus on non-communicable diseases, ageing, and health inequalities.
She has completed her PhD and Master’s in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai. Before joining CMHLP, she worked as a researcher on projects using national health surveys like NFHS and LASI.
Professional interests: Data-driven public health, mental health policy, non-communicable diseases, and ageing research.
