Himali Joshi

Himali Joshi works as a Project Manager and Research Coordinator at Atmiyata, Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy based at Ahmedabad.

Prior to joining CMHLP, she completed her Master of Social Work and gained experience in the working under ‘Mission Shakti’ – an integrated women empowerment programme as umbrella scheme for the safety, security and empowerment of women as a State Mission Coordinator, State Hub for Empowerment of Women, as a part of Project Management Unit (PMU) in a WCD, Gandhinagar.

She has been working in women welfare, women and child development department, Gandhinagar since last 10 years. where she has been focussing on policy, planning, and innovative initiatives. experience in women’s welfare, community health, and project management and seeking to leverage expertise in policy implementation, stakeholder coordination, and program evaluation to drive meaningful social change and contribute to organizational goals through strategic leadership and collaborative teamwork. she has been worked for the smooth implementation and evaluation of the State/District Hub for Empowerment of Women, One Stop Centre Scheme and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme at the state and districts levels.

Himali spends her free time reading Books and Novels, and Meet the friends, and travelling.

Professional interests: Mental health at the intersection of gender and sexuality, and inclusive holistic development for women empowerment, Interested in policy-based work.
