Ajinkya Sanjay Khandizod

Assistant Project Manager and Research Associate on the Youth Suicide Prevention Programme at Higher Education Institutes Project. He holds a master’s degree in social work (Community Organization and Development Practice) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. With a background in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), he has experience working with education departments, youth and women, particularly among marginalized communities. He enjoys watching films from various regions and cultures, often experiencing them in theatres during his free time.

Higher education and student wellbeing, gender and social equity, intersections of caste and mental health, community-based mental health systems, participatory policy research, program design and evaluation, and intersectional approaches to public policy and resource distribution.
