Rishov Sonowal

Rishov works as a Project Officer and Research Associate with the Atmiyata project. He oversees the data-related aspects of the project, including data analysis and research.

He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Before stepping into his current role, Rishov served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at a grassroots organisation in Madhya Pradesh.

Rishov is passionate about systemic concerns such as the intersections of caste, religion and social justice. Outside of work, Rishov is a self-confessed gamer, a curious home chef, and a dedicated reader. He finds joy in exploring new gaming worlds, experimenting in the kitchen, and losing himself in a good book.
