Kaustubh Joag

Kaustubh is a consultant psychiatrist and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre. He co-leads Atmiyata and has worked on the project since its inception: first, as the Co-Principal Investigator through its proof-of-concept stage and then as Principal Investigator for the transition-to-scale stage. Currently, he co-leads the partnership model with Ambuja Cement Foundation and Hasiru Dala, a social impact organisation, for the replication of the Atmiyata model.

Kaustubh also coordinates the Centre’s International Diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights & Law. He enjoys music, sleeping, and Bollywood movies in his free time.
