Ankita has completed her Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H) and MSc. in Public Policy & Management from University of Pune and University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK respectively.

Prior to this role, she has worked with the World Health Organization (WHO)- India office, in different capacities to support work on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) & associated risk factors and social determinants of health.

In the past, she has actively supported campaigns and projects related to nutrition, tobacco control, digital literacy, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and reproductive health in India.

In her free time, Ankita loves to play tennis, travel, read, paint, listen to podcasts and watch movies.

Professional interests: Health policy, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), mental health, health systems and governance, commercial and social determinants of health.
