  • I Hear You is a digital campaign by the Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy, Pune that aims to raise awareness about active listening for mental health.

For the main activity of the campaign, the person who has selected you will ask you a list of questions about your understanding of mental health, and how you prefer receiving support when you are stressed or low.

We have requested your partner to fill out your responses in a form that will be sent to us. We request you to review and approve the form before it is uploaded. We may pick content from it to share on social media, and through other print and digital outputs of the campaign. But in all cases, the content will remain anonymous. We will not publish any identifiable details about you, them, and/or the responses you send us.

By disseminating your responses to a wider audience you can inspire others to reach out to their loved ones too thus continuing the effort of encouraging conversations about mental health.

Some of the questions can make you or your partner uncomfortable or might trigger a negative memory. If that happens during any stage of the conversation, please pause to check in with the opposite person. You can also discontinue the conversation. It is not mandatory to respond to all the questions.

If you feel distressed during/after the activity, you can also contact Aasra, a 24x7 helpline for mental health on +91 98204 66 726

If you have any doubts about the campaign or the activity before proceeding or after the responses have been sent, feel free to email us at ihearyou.cmhlp@gmail.com
